ABOUT US
Our Mission
Liceum Pomaga is an initiative offering free tutoring for children with migration experience at primary school level. Our goal is to support the education and integration of children in Poland by supporting them in learning various school subjects.

Hey!
Are you looking for support for your child in a Polish school? We are here to help! Our team of high school students created a project that aims to support refugee children in learning and adapting to a new environment. We know that the beginnings can be difficult, but together we can do it! Our initiative was born from the need of the heart and the desire to help.
Why is it worth trusting us? Because we are young, full of energy and understanding. We know what it is like to be a student and how lost you can feel. That is why we do everything in our power to make learning more fun and less stressful. We understand perfectly how difficult it can be to adapt to a new environment, especially when the language and culture are different. That is why we are here - to help you overcome these challenges, step by step.
We provide free tutoring in various school subjects at the primary school level. We are here to help with homework, preparation for tests and to cope with school challenges. We want every student to feel confident and comfortable in a Polish school, as well as to make new friends. 🌍📚✨

Where did the idea for the project Liceum Pomaga come from?
The initiative of free tutoring for children with migration experience, including refugee experience, was born out of the need to help the youngest who found themselves in a difficult life situation. The project was conceived by Matylda Bobkowska, who first became involved in aid activities after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Living in Poland, Matylda supported Ukrainian children who were torn from their safe world and found themselves in a new reality - in a new country, in a new environment, in a new educational system.
Today, Matylda is a third-year high school student in the United States, which gives her an even deeper understanding of the experience of being new in another country. Her personal experiences make her even more eager to continue the "Liceum Pomaga" project in Poland. Seeing how much difference such help can make, Matylda decided to expand the initiative to all children from families who have experienced migration and currently attend Polish schools. She believes that educational support will help them acclimatize faster and find their way in a new environment.
She invited her friends to participate in the project, and they enthusiastically joined in. This is how the project "Liceum Pomaga" was created, which aims to support children with migration experience in their educational and life path in Poland.
Thanks to "Liceum Pomaga" these children can count on free tutoring, which helps them catch up on schoolwork and better understand the teaching material. Together we can ensure that every child, regardless of where they come from, will have an equal chance for success in school and beyond.
